A lot of you do what I do for a living…you sell products on the internet.
Some of you have been doing this for a long time, and others of you are new at it. But whatever stage of marketing you find yourself in, one thing that all of us come up against is the need for a great lead magnet.
One of the classiest lead magnets you can offer your readers, is an ebook in PDF form.
A lot of marketers get really stuck with this, because they are only one step away from creating a great lead magnet.
They just need to put their text into PDf form, right now, today, without special software.
Here’s how it’s done:
Note: you will actually need to have Microsoft Word or OpenOffice Org to do this.
First, you create your word document.
Then, when you go to save your work, before you click on the “save” button, you will need to save your work as a PDF file.
Here’s how you do it: at the bottom of the window that pops us, you will see two fields. One says “File name, and as you can see in my screen shot, it should be highlighted wit the name of your document. Directly below this, you will see a field that reads: “Save as Type”
This next step is so easy, you will scream. Or kick yourself. (don’t do that though…we all have gaps…).
What you need to do is, click on the drop down menu tab on this field and from the drop down menu, choose “PDF”.
Then, click the save button so you don’t lose your work.
And that’s all there is to it!
