The “Secret System” you are looking for.

Everyone of you is looking for a “secret system”. I don’t care who you are. We all are. If you are diligent or lazy, Christian or pagan, internet marketer or lottery player, everyone is.

There are two reasons for this: a. you aren’t on the right track OR

b. you ARE on the right track to internet marketing success, but you don’t know it yet.  Even if you are on the right track, it can take time. And it’s easy to doubt yourself and wonder if you will get there in time to even enjoy it.

The Patriarchs of old went through this. Joseph had a dream that he would rule over his brother, and yet God let him sit in prison.  Don’t you think that he sometimes wondered if he would ever reach his dream? We read that God was putting iron in his bones.

Moses was on the backside of the desert for 40 years before stepping into his dream to deliver his people.

Abraham and Sarah were bona fide senior citizens before the birth of the promised child. What am I saying? I’m saying that just because you have to wait, doesn’t mean it will never happen.

How do you know if you are doing the right thing?

Well, first of all, the right thing can change. What does work today might not work tomorrow.  We all know this.  But there are some things that are pretty certain.

If you have a product that no one else has, but that everyone wants,

if you promote it on a reasonably attractive platform

and if you promote it properly, then you have a better chance of success. So start with that.

But now, I want to tell you the REaL and I  do mean the real deal secret to success. And it is the only truth that will never change in your marketing scheme, ever.  Here it is:

Quantum Marketing

Quantum mechanics’ core assumption is that on the smallest scales, atomic properties are quantized, meaning that particles take on discrete, rather than continuous states—their properties exist along a staircase rather than a ramp. For example, an electron can be in a lowest-energy state, but if you add a little more energy, it doesn’t slowly transition into the new higher-energy state. Rather, it unpredictably snaps into the new state. If you’re not looking at it, the atom can take on intermediate states—but these aren’t midway points. The atom would be in both states at the same time, and then once you observed it, it would immediately snap into one state or the other. –Ryan Mandelbaum, journalist at Gizmodo

So, fellow marketers, let me break this down and apply it for you; this is merely saying that something that is nuanced and layered, atomically speaking, in the way that it is formed, can atomically change instantaneously, through out every layer.
I’m talking here about instant transformation with your business.

See, a lot of you have spent alot of time in your business. You have layered and created your various marketing layers, if you will, step by step, to create the business in which you have. But in quantum mechanics, if you add a bit more energy to something, it snaps from the first layer,to the last layer instantaneously, without any stair stepping.

Sort of like changing the theme to your blog…and with one click, everything goes into effect, without you changing your settings one at a time.

Well, in marketing, I have found that there is one element that you can add to your business, that will take everything to the next level. And it’s so simple that if I told you, might not believe me.

It’s diligence.

When you use carefully planning, scheduling, and foresight to your business, you are going to see everything JUMP, just like the excerpt above said regarding quantum mechanics.

Now, before you tune me out, just hang with me for several moments.

If you think about it, everything in your life can be structured. And if it wasn’t, it would fall apart. But it’s all connected.

Your daily tasks play, one into the other. But if you can learn to schedule those things, you put them on a connected stair case. And when you add more juice to one of those components, it affects all of the layers….provided your marketing system is structured and ordered.

So here’s what I mean…you post on your blog, and instantly you get traffic, followers, sales. Why? Because you had the other components in place. Now, one post automatically jumps your sales.

Isn’t that what all marketers want? They want…instant sales. In other words, they want the quantum mechanics “effect”, in marketing, that is, they want “quantum marketing” but they don’t want to develop those nuanced layers first.

Which is why you get all of these loons screaming “get rich over night like me”. Because they have heard of the quantum effect in marketing from someone who experienced it.

Now here is where EVERY one get trapped in their thinking. Their Knower in them Knows that it’s true….it knows that people can get very wealthy and that there is some “key” to it. We all feel that reality (don’t you feel it, reader?). Well, the instinct is correct the process that the hucksters are pushing is all wrong. It’s not this product, that system, or this affiliate launch. When you see marketers pushing all different kinds of products, all of the time, it just means that they themselves have not yet found “the answer”. And then when they try something for a while, and get success, they think it’s “the one”. But when it’s not, then they jump to the next one. And then they think that the answer is jumping…yea, that’s it. That’s the ticket. I’ll just jump from product to product…but no friends, jumping from product to product is NOT the quantum leap you are looking for.

The quantum leap in marketing happens in your mind when you make the mental leap from “next’ into “stay”. As in, I’m going to stay with a system that works.

Here it is.

Pick a product that has a market, but a specific market. Pick a product you can live with.
Make a blog. Post every day about your product.
Make your blog look really good.
Develop an online presence that is professional.
Post every day, on your blog, if you can.
FORGET about seo for now.
Write to your audience.
Realize this will take time.
Try to put up at least one post per day, especially in the beginning.
Tell people a bit about yourself.
FIND ANOTHER SIDE HUSTLE or product to promote or sell on ebay, but don’t spend all of your time in it.
Believe that your primary product and business will be successful. (if you don’t think it has that potential, then you need a different product).

Now, I talk about all of these things step by nuanced step in my program “How to sell Anything Online”. If you know how to do all of these things, then do them. If you don’t, then order my program.
But either way, give your business, (which should be selling one primary product OF YOUR OWN) at least one full year before quitting, and at least two before expecting results.

That’s the golden key, my friends, that’s the quantum leap in marketing; it’s the decision to be diligent.

How to Succeed at online marketing

I really should have penned this article “How to Succeed at Online Marketing ‘ or anything you try, because this principle will work with any goal you have.

W.I.T.

Wit is the acronymn. What does wit stand for?

What It Takes.

Marketer, what is an internet marketer?

A lot of people want to make money at internet marketing, but what does that mean? When people use the term “internet marketing (or digital marketing, web marketing, online marketing, etc.) they could mean many different things.
They could be talking about

Affiliate Marketing
Content Marketing
Drop shipping
or even (gasp!) selling online. As in, actually selling something, a thing, a product…online. It’s the last definition here that concerns me; not because I don’t believe in selling online, but rather, I’m concerned because SO FEW PEOPLE even think about selling online when they think of making money online

It has been my experience that most people who read my website are primarily interested in affiliate marketing. In case you don’t know, affiliate marketing is just a way of making money whereby you direct your visitor to someone else’s website, who IS actually selling something. The “beauty” (yah…) of this is that supposedly, you are going to save SO MUCH MONEY on overhead; that is, expenses like inventory, shop space, wholesale purchasing, business licenses, etc, by simply pushing your visitors to someone else’s website, and getting a commission for the sale. Commission. As in, what salespeople get paid. So now, you aren’t aren’t a business owner, affiliate. Stay with me, reader: it’s bubble bursting time. Can we bust some bubbles in fairy land today?

I know you work hard…MAN do you pump it with your biz (er, I mean….opporutnity? Landing page? Copy write script?) But PLEASE PLEASE listen affiliate…. you are THEIR salesman!

Everyday, you take chances…will this ad draw clicks…will this lead capture page draw traffic. How many backlinks can I buy with this service? Will they increase my rankings? How much time can I spend CHECKING my rankings. on and on. And for what, affiliate? For THEM> for the person who is raking it in from all of their affiliates. Affiliate, I’m sure you know, some places won’t even cut you a check for your commissions, unless you hit a certain $ amount. SAy WhATTTT? Do you know any other industry that screws people over like this? Can you really trust a platform like that to send you any commissions ever? And how would you know if they didn’t?

Affiliate, if you’ve boughten the lie that affiliate marketing is the horn of plenty, then you OWE it to yourself to read my series, the affiliate letters.

The Best Game Plan for your internet Marketing Business

Does your game plan keep disappearing from day to day, and getting replaced with the latest trick? Here are some common lies that are being promoted on the internet. Do you believe this internal dialogue?

“The best marketing plan for my business is one that gets me lots of followers on Facebook”

(next)

“The best marketing plan for my business is one that brings me traffic.”

Okay. That’s a good start. Let’s go on.

“The Best Marketing plan for my business is one that actually makes me sales, already!!

…you’re getting warm…

“The Best Marketing plan for my business is one the makes me Money, for crying out loud!

Partially true…read on…

The Best Marketing plan for my business is the one that actually makes me a profit…

…you’re almost there…

“Sue, what are you talking about? You don’t think it’s important that I make a profit”?

Let me explain–

If you get lots of people who:

  • like your product,
  • follow you on Facebook, Twitter Instagram…everything
  • and who visit your website

and who even buy from you
but
what you spend in:

  • advertising
  • webhosting
  • software
  • “opportunities”
and other expenses—-if those expenses are deducted, and they actually DO bring you a profit, then you still have some math to do…because…

it really isn’t profit if your time isn’t paid for.

So. Let’s say that you make 25,000 a year in PURE PROFIT.
Let me ask you something….is the time you invested in making that money worth more than minimum wage? Because, if it is, then you didn’t even make that.

See, a lot of marketers are very good at bookkeeping, but they live in this carrot-on-the stick fantasy world.

They may not measure their success (like so many marketers do) in terms of social media activity, traffic or even sales, because they have been around the block, so to speak, and they have learned that it isn’t what you make, it’s what you keep (after buying leads, paying for ads, etceters.)

But one thing that almost every marketer struggles with is putting value on their time.

A lot of marketers are retired, on disablility, or just self-employed. So they don’t figure in the value of their time, because they just think, I’m not doing anything else with my time right now.

But time always has value, no matter how much of it you think that you have.
We would never hear of someone underselling their product because they have too much money on their hands. Yet marketers consistently undersell their product because they don’t factor in the value of their time, when they go to price their product.

You need to see the value of your time the way that a physical shop owner would price his “overhead”. You may not have the mortgage, lights and gas to pay on a separate building, you may not have inventory to account for, but you can be sure, if you are an internet marketer, you spend plenty time on your business each week.

And what a lot of marketers fail to do is to track the time they actually spend on their business, not taking into account basic things like creating a post, checking their stats, ect. All of these tasks are YOUR TIME that you are INVESTING in your business. You need to account for that when you figure out your profit margin.
