The Best way to make money online.

As you begin to hear about all of the internet marketing tactics out there, a good question to always ask is this–

How much money will this make me, right now.

You must ask that question, because, if your internet marketing plan doesn’t earn you an income, right now, then think, marketer…how are you going to fund your plan?

For example, if you have a plan to get number one on Google thereby drawing traffic to your site, then that is not enough.

You need to have some money now, not three years from now when you get a handle on Search Engine Marketing.

If your plan is to sign 100 people up for your newsletter, then you have the wrong plan. Because. The plan is to make money. What if you spend 2 years getting enough traffic to get sign ups? What if everyone is already reading your newsletters, but no one is buying?

You need a bigger plan.

Your plan is to make money

You need a better plan…that is…you need cash now.

In my internet marketing program, I show you how to make money immediately, not 10 days from today.

Are you ready to get some cash flow going? Read all about it here

When internet marketing success seems unattainable.

They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, hoping to get different results.

Now, I suppose that wouldn’t be true if you knew that your repetition was going to bring you results. For example; if you can’t lift 100 pounds, but you lift up twenty pounds every day, one day, you should easily be able to up that by ten extra pounds. Sometimes the search engines work that way…you have a sleeper website, but your visitors come by in a trickle. After five years, it hits a point where Google recognizes you, and pushes you up to the fifth page. And then maybe you get excited and try a few things that work. And you get to the third page on Google. And six months later, a couple people visit you, so Google bumps you up to second page. And it’s tough. Five years later, you get a few sign ups for your newsletter, but you are, after all, on the second page of Google–for a long tail search term. Woo hoo don’t you feel good! You tell all your friends you have ranked on Google, but now it’s been years since you started your website and no one is buying. What is this called? It’s called insanity. No, not your diligence, no, not your belief, but your plan. As in, you don’t have one. Guess what, head knocker…you could be my best student. You don’t know how to quit. Now, it’s time to bump heads with the best minds out there…my team.

How to Succeed in Internet Marketing.

Decide exactly what course in internet marketing you are going to take.

There is SO MUCH to do that falls under the umbrella of internet marketing.

Internet Marketing does not just mean selling online.

It can also mean, making money by selling ads on your website.

It could mean, making money by referring people to a product, consultant, or to a specific service.

If you build websites for other people, and collect payments at their office, that is still considered an Internet Marketing job, because you are selling them a product that they will use online.

So then. Before you start Googling in “How to succeed in Internet Marketing“, you first need to define what exactly you want to do in the field of digital marketing (note: digital marketing is just another name for internet marketing).

Each week, I’m going to detail the pros and cons of different internet marketing paths. Stay tuned…

How To Win at Internet Marketing

How to win at Internet marketing.

Okay. Let’s talk here. So you have a dream to be successful. But. What does that mean?

What does it mean, exactly, to be successful at internet marketing? Well, different people define success in different ways. If you make money at internet marketing, most people would call that succeeding at it. Not because money is everything, but because we are specifically talking about marketing here. As in, marketing or selling something on the internet.

But now, I didn’t title this post, “How to succeed at internet marketing”  because, most people don’t look at internet marketing as something to make money at. They look at it as  a sort of Machiavellian style game…where they win. Here’s what I mean.

A lot of internet marketers are very competitive. And there’s a reason for that. Internet marketing is sort of set up to make you competitive.

Affiliate marketers want to scoop up the seekers.

Other marketers (okay most) have a highly focused goal of being number one on Google…or at least somewhere at the top of the heap.

And a lot of marketers have this belief that if they can get enough “likes” on their face book page, then (hurray!) they win.

But that’s not true. Because being successful at internet marketing has nothing to do with any of those things. It’s all about how much money you make.

You should have a definite goal of how much money you expect to make at internet marketing.

It’s easy to lose focus of what’s important, and get all excited when you have 5000 followers. But is all of that “fame” converting into cash?

Instead of counting your “likes”, checking your stats, and looking at your rankings on Google, you need to ask yourself this question:
“Are any of these things actually making me any money”

How long to wait for the ship to roll in.

Keeping the vision before you

image002If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time, then you know that I am big on “writing the vision and making it plain”.

One thing that can really help you do this is a time-line of your business.
Your business should be growing everyday, and you should be able to see some growth in your business.

Some people spend years and years promoting something that isn’t working for them.

This may not mean that they are in the wrong business, but it does mean that they need to withdraw and analyze.

When you are in an online business, it is so important to keep the vision before you. Ask yourself, where did I hope to be at this point in my business when I first began?

Then, withdraw and analyze.

If you find that you are not where you should be by now, then ask yourself some questions:

“Was I unrealistic in the amount of time I thought it would take me to succeed?
And what is success”?

“What accomplishment at this point in the game would cause me to think I am successful”? Remember, goals must be actionable and measurable.

If you take inventory and are disappointed with where you are, then ask yourself… “What goal must I reach this year in order to be successful”?
Once you determine what that goal is, break it down into each season, and then each month.

Now, write the vision and make it plain. Determine exactly what your goal is for this month, and make sure it is a reasonable goal. If you can’t reach it by the end of this month, then you need to ask yourself…how long am I prepared to work on this goal?

It’s easy in internet marketing to lose sight of our goals, and to get on a treadmill. But if your internet marketing business isn’t getting you anywhere, then you need to find out why.
