How to Fail in Internet Marketing

Believe that all you need is to make a glorious website. Spend months learning coding, half a year developing content, and years trying to figure out how to get traffic (once you realize that having a website is not enough).

Build backlinks through black hat websites. Rave at your sudden traffic surge as you (temporarily) fly under the radar. Get banned from Google.

Try your hand at Google Adwords with zero training. Lose hundreds of dollars over night. Buy outdated manuals on the subject at half-price. Try again. Fall flat. Hire a PPC manager who has wonderful promises, but is unscrupulous in his methods. Get banned from Google.

Buy an SEO manual that promises great success. Diligently employ it’s methods. Exploit each technique so excessively that Google penalizes you. Watch your momentary rankings drop like a rock…overnight.

Back off from internet marketing altogether until one day, out of nowhere, you get a lead…online.

Go crazy trying to figure out HOW IN THE WORLD did this guy ever find me?
Hire an SEO analyst who (also) has no idea what he is doing. Scratch your head…

Hire a marketing consultant for $1000 dollars who spends one hour with you and tells you what you (secretly) already know:

Success requires a learning curve and you need to either A, Hire an online agency to launch you to the top (which costs $10,000) or, B), get a real education.

Here’s to your SURE success.

Self-guided Ecourse

As you may have noticed on the main page, our internet marketing 101 mentoring program doesn’t start up again until  September of 2017.

But that’s okay. Because..we have just begun our self-guided e-course. Orientation begins July  10th–  it’s a four-week course.

You’ll receive daily assignments and lessons along with practical examples, and “keep on track” checkpoints to make sure you aren’t neglecting any one part of your marketing strategy.

This self-guided program is “step-by-step” simple, and foundational in its approach. We take you from “easy- to -breezy” in no time.

As always, we have a “Help Me!” hotline you can call  during normal business hours (9-5).

Skills you need to know before you begin

You must know the following basic computer skills before beginning this course: “Cut, copy, and paste”; using a text editor; minimizing and maximizing a computer; the difference between an address bar and a task bar, and how to open a new “window.”

A good qualifying question to ask most of you is: Do you know what a browser is? If you don’t, then you definitely need to brush up on these skills before beginning.

Also, if you are new to the computer it’s a really good idea to take a beginning computer course at your local library. Most library computer courses are completely free of charge.

When does the course start up?”

Orientation begins July 10th.

What will I learn?

You will be taught how to find your niche, how to position yourself online as an expert, how to sell online immediately, (yes, immediately) and how to build a high quality blog and website. We also cover basic SEO and traffic techniques.

Who will benefit from this course?

Those marketers who need help in getting their online business started, developed, or off the ground will benefit. If you already have a blog or website, and you aren’t doing really well yet, this course will review the basics to make sure your website is following “best practices” for search engine optimization.

If you have a quality blog with some traffic but would like more traffic, then you should go with the more advanced course.

But, if you are highly motivated, if you are just getting started at internet marketing, or if you just have gaps that need to be filled, and you are okay with asking for help rather than being checked up on, then we welcome you to join this self-guided program.
